‘‘IAB Health’s expertise, compassion, and commitment have played a crucial role in my recovery’’ Martin (Stroke Survivor)

Huge wins for our patient’s and their families!

  • ‘‘Firstly, Iain was the first person to recognise Joe’s upper limb difficulties and believe that improvement was possible. Having someone show that level of belief and confidence in Joe made a huge difference. Secondly, Iain’s approach is informal and approachable, which works really well for a young adult like Joe. The relationship feels much more like working with a personal trainer than just seeing another healthcare professional. At the same time, Iain has always been highly professional. His knowledge, skill, and ability to communicate have been outstanding. He has been able to inspire confidence in Joe while delivering excellent care, and that balance has been incredibly valuable.’’ Lucy, mother of Joe (CP Warrior)

  • "I would 1000% recommend this home neurological physiotherapy service to anyone recovering from a stroke. The impact has been life-changing—not just physically, but emotionally as well. Iain has been professional, reliable, and genuinely caring from day one. His personalised approach, combined with his knowledge and consistent encouragement, has helped me achieve things that once felt impossible. Tasks like climbing stairs and moving safely around the house are now manageable—and often independent. From both my perspective and my wife’s, the improvement in safety, confidence, and overall quality of life has been huge. We truly believe that without Iain’s dedication and support, this level of progress wouldn’t have been possible.”

    Raj - Stroke Survivor

  • “The progress has been remarkable. Chris went from being unable to stand or walk independently to regaining the ability to walk unaided for periods of time, get himself in and out of bed, and move confidently around the house. He is now able to go out for walks along the road and in the local park, and has even returned to trips to the shops—something that once felt out of reach.”

    Maureen, Wife of Parkinsons patient

  • ''Roger’s physical improvements have been remarkable. Despite ongoing sensory loss in his leg, he has regained strength and control, supported by regular exercise, including the use of a motorised bike and hydrotherapy sessions. His leg strength is now comparable to, if not better than, before his stroke. Beyond the physical gains, the impact on Roger’s quality of life has been profound. Being able to get into a car has reopened opportunities to socialise, go out for meals, and even enjoy holidays with his family. It has also provided reassurance for his wife, allowing her to take breaks knowing Roger continues to receive consistent care—even during respite stays, where Iain has continued his treatment. A defining feature of Roger’s recovery has been Iain’s commitment and approach. His expertise in neurological physiotherapy, combined with genuine passion and dedication, has supported not only Roger’s physical rehabilitation but also his mental resilience and confidence.''
